AMENDMENTS TO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT REGULATIONS

The Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs has amended the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations Listing Notices 1 and 2 published under GNR's 544 and 545 of 18 June 2010.

The amendment to GNR 544 relates to two new listed activities (items 55A and 55B) in respect of the construction and expansion of certain treatment facilities. The amendment to the listings under GNR 545 entails the addition of item 27, also relating to the construction of treatment facilities.
