The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has, in terms of section 7(2) of the NFA, declared the natural forest types as set out in the schedule to this notice as natural forests.
The effect of the declaration is that in terms of section 7(1) of the NFA, no person may, inter alia, cut, disturb, damage or destroy any indigenous tree in a natural forest.
