The Council of the Govan Mbeki Municipality has, in terms of section 156 of the Constitution read in conjunction with section 11 and 98 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 as amended, made the Disposal of Contaminated and Infectious Waste By-Law, regulating the disposal, transport and storage of contaminated and/or infectious waste, as set out in this notice.
