The Mbizana Local Municipality has, in terms of section 13 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 read with section 162 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Act 108 of 1996, published the By-law Relating to the Disposal of Contaminated and or Infectious Waste. The By-law regulates, inter alia, the storage, transport and removal of infectious waste.
