The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, in terms of sections 83(1)(g), (h), (k) and (r) of the NEM:ICMA, published the Dumping at Sea Regulations.
The Regulations provide for, inter alia, the requirements for an application for a dumping permit in terms of section 71(1) of the NEM:ICMA as well as for an application for emergency dumping to be made in terms of sections 71 and 72 of the Act.
