The Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs has, in terms of section 78(3) of the NWA, established the Limpopo-North West catchment management agency. The area of operation of the Limpopo-North West catchment management agency includes the previous Limpopo and Crocodile-West water management areas together with Luvuvhu catchment from the previous Luvuvhu-Letaba waste management areas.
