The Chief Inspector of Mines has, in terms of section 49(6) of the MHSA, issued the guideline for the compilation of a mandatory code of practice for an occupational health program (occupational hygiene and medical surveillance) on personal exposure to airborne pollutants in terms of the MHSA.
