The Department of Labour has published explanatory notes and guidelines for the application of the Lift, Escalator and Passenger Conveyor Regulations which were published under GNR 828 on 17 September 2010.
The notes are aimed to help and guide suppliers, contractors, maintenance providers, users, inspection service providers and inspectors and explain the purpose of the regulations, their meaning and suggested administration.
