The MEC for Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism has, in terms of section 33(1)(a) of the NEMPAA, given notice of his intention to -
- Declare the Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve in terms of section 23(1)(b) of the NEMPAA on the properties set out under paragraph 1 of the schedule to the notice;
- Declare the Sam Knott Nature Reserve in terms of section 23(1)(b) of the NEMPAA on the properties set out under paragraph 2 of the schedule to the notice;
- Declare the Skilderkrantz Nature Reserve in terms of section 23(1)(b) of the NEMPAA on the properties set out under paragraph 3 of the schedule to the notice;
- Declare the Cedarville Protected Environment in terms of section 23(1)(b) of the NEMPAA on the properties set out under paragraph 4 of the schedule to the notice;
- Declare the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Nature Reserve in terms of section 23(1)(b) of the NEMPAA on the properties set out under paragraph 5 of the schedule to the notice;
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments within 60 days from the date of this notice (i.e. on or before 8 February 2016).
