The Acting Director-General of the Department of Water and Sanitation has, in terms of Item 6(1) of Schedule 3 to the NWA, limited the taking of groundwater from the Ventersdorp Eye Subterranean Government Water Control Area by all users as follows:
- 30% restriction on groundwater used for irrigation purposes from the Ventersdorp Eye Subterranean Government Water Control Area.
