The Minister of Environmental Affairs has published the 6th draft of the “National Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report” (NIR) which will form part of the National Communications and
Biennial Update Reports to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
(UNFCCC) for public comment. A copy of the draft NIR may be downloaded from the Department of Environmental Affairs’ website at: www.environment.gov.za.
Members of the public were to submit written comments in respect of the draft NIR to the Minister of the Department of Environmental Affairs, within 30 days from date of publication of the abovementioned notice.
