The Emadlangeni Local Municipality has, in terms of section 14(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, enacted the Pollution Control By-Law with effect from 1 August 2015, aimed at regulating noise, water and air pollution within the area of jurisdiction of the Municipality.
