The Minister of Mineral Resources has published, for public comment, the draft African Exploration Mining and Finance Corporation Bill, 2015.
The objects of the Bill are to, inter alia, provide for the establishment of the African Exploration Mining and Finance Corporation to acquire and develop permits, rights and any other interest granted to the Corporation in terms of the MPRDA on behalf of the State.
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments within 60 days after the publication of the notice (i.e. on or before 22 March 2016).
