The Council of the Govan Mbeki Municipality has, in terms of section 156 of the Constitution read in conjunction with section 11 and 98 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, made the Storm Water Management By-Law, as set out in this notice. Amongst others, the By-Law regulates the acquisition of a permit for certain site development activities, erosion and sediment control on developments and stormwater management and pollution on developments.
