The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, in terms of sections 48A(2), 86(1)(a), (b), (c) and (d) of the NEM:PAA, published the Regulations for the Management of the Dwesa-Cwebe Marine Protected Area, as further set out in the schedule to this notice.
The regulations come into effect on 1 December 2015 and, inter alia, provide for the protection and management of abalone species and sets out restricted and controlled zones within the marine protected area.
