The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, in terms of sections 28(1), read with sections 28(5) of the NEM:WA, given notice of her intention to require the Tyre Industry to prepare and submit an Industry Waste Tyre Management Plan for approval.
The notice will be applicable to a tyre dealer, a tyre producer, a waste tyre processor and a waste tyre transporter.
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments within 30 days of the publication of this notice (i.e. on or before 2 May 2017).
