Under the provisions of section 156 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, the Umjindi Local Municipality has enacted the Waste Management By-law.
The By-law regulates, inter alia, the generation, storage and collection of solid, non-hazardous waste within the area of jurisdiction of the Municipality.
