Section 11 of NEMA requires national and provincial government departments listed in Schedules 1 and 2 of NEMA, to prepare Environmental Implementation Plans (EIP) and/or Environmental Management Plans (EMP) at least every 5 years.
The Department of Energy (“DoE”) has published the 3rd edition EMP for the period of 2015 to 2020, which applies to the DoE and its relevant State Owned Companies and State Owned Entities.
