The Knysna Municipality has, under section 156 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, enacted the By-Law pertaining to Public Nuisances.
The by-law regulates, inter alia, the conveyance of any hazardous or objectionable material in a street or public place in order to prevent the occurrence of public nuisances.
