The Kopanong Municipality has, with effect from 12 December 2014, under the provisions of section 156 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, adopted the By-Law pertaining to Waste Management.
The By-Law regulates, inter alia, the collection, transportation, disposal, treatment and recycling of waste.
