The Minister of Mineral Resources has, in terms of section 49(1) of the MPRDA, imposed a prohibition on the granting of all new applications for prospecting rights, mining rights, reconnaissance permissions and mining permits in terms of sections 16, 22, 13 and 27 respectively of the MPRDA for an indefinite period in respect of the farms Rotondo 1093, Klein Poortje 1077, Klein Poortje 1052, Poortje 38 and Mooiplaas 1087, District Rouxville, Free State.
