The Council of the Central Karoo District Municipality has enacted the Air Quality Management By-Law. These By-Laws are aimed at strengthening Government strategies for protection of the environment and, more specifically the enhancement of quality of ambient air in order to secure an environment that is not harmful.
These By-laws come into operation on date of publication with the exclusion of section 14, which will come into operation on a date decided by Council.
