The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, in terms of section 24J (a) of the NEMA, given notice of her intention to make Air Quality Offsets Guidelines as set out in the schedule to this notice. The Guidelines aim to provide guidance on situations under which offsets can be applied during the implementation of the atmospheric emission licensing system as well as in respect of principles that should be adhered to in recommending and implementing offsets.
Members of the public are invited to submit written representations within 30 days of publication of this Notice (i.e. on or before 27 July 2015).
