The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment has, under section 44(1)(aA), (aB) and (b) of the NEMA, amended the Regulations made ito section 24(d) of the ECA in respect of Pastic Carrier Bags & Plastic Flat Bags.
Among the amendments is the insertion of the definition “post-consumer recyclate” which relates to material generated by households or commercial, industrial or institutional facilities in their role as end-users of the product.
