The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, in terms of regulation 7 read with regulation 31(2) of the Bioprospecting, Access and Benefit-Sharing Amendments Regulations, 2015, and chapter 6 of the NEM:BA, given notice of a bioprospecting permit application submitted by the University of Pretoria.
Members of the public holding traditional knowledge associated with the use of the plants listed in this notice are invited to submit within 30 days after publication of the notice, written names and evidence (i.e. on or before 24 February 2016).
