The Minister of Science and Technology has, in terms of section 15(1) of the AGAA, assigned the management of the Karoo Central Astronomy Advantage Areas and the Sutherland Central Astronomy Advantage Area to the Astronomy Management Authority within the Department of Science and Technology.
