A Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs in Mpumalanga Province, hereby gives notice in terms of Section 23(1)(a)(i) and (b) of the NEM:PAA of the declaration of the Bezuidenhoutshoek Nature Reserve located in the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality.
The purpose for the declaration is to protect the area due to its significant natural features and biodiversity and to ensure the long term protection of the area for the maintenance of its biodiversity.
