The Minister of Science and Technology has, by notice in the Gazette, declared that the regulations regarding the Protection of the Karoo Central Astronomy Advantage Areas in terms of section 50 and 51 of the AGAA which were published in Government Gazette No. 41321, under Notice No. 1411, on 15 December 2017; will become effective on 15 December 2018.
