The MEC responsible for Cooperative Governance, Traditional Affairs and Human Settlement in the Free State has, in terms of section 14(2)(a)(i) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, made the Environmental Health By-Law pertaining to, inter alia, the prevention and suppression of health nuisances, the keeping of animals and poultry and medical waste management within the Xhariep District Municipal area, as set out in the schedule to this notice.
