The Chief Inspector of Mines has, in terms of section 49(6) of the MHSA issued the guideline for trackless mobile machines, as further set out in the schedule to this notice.
The objective of this guideline is to enable the employer at every mine to compile a code of practice, which, if properly implemented and complied with, would improve health and safety in connection with the use of trackless mobile machines at a mine.
