ACT NO. 36 OF 2014: NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: INTEGRATED COASTAL MANAGEMENT AMENDMENT ACT, 2014

The president has assented to the National Environmental Management: Integrated Coastal Management Amendment Act 36 of 2014 ("Amendment Act"). The Amendment Act amends the NEMICMA by, inter alia, clarifying coastal public property and the ownership of structures erected on and in coastal public property, to remove the power to exclude areas from coastal public property and to limit the renewal of dumping permits.
