The MEC of the Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism has given notice, in terms of section 33(1)(a) of the NEMPAA, of the intention to declare the nature reserves and protected areas and to assign the management authorities for the respective nature reserves and protected areas, as set out in the schedule to the notice.
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments within 60 days of the publication of this notice (i.e. on or before 23 March 2015).
