The Minister of Water and Sanitation has, in terms of section 28 of the WSA, given notice of her intention to disestablish the Mlhathuse Water Board in terms of sections 28(1)(a), (b), (c) and (d) of the WSA and that the staff, assets, liabilities and operations be transferred to the Umgeni Water Board. It is further proposed that the name of Umgeni Water Board be changed to KwaZulu-Natal Water Board.
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments within 60 days of the publication of this notice (i.e. on or before 9 January 2018).
