The MEC for Gauteng Department of Economic Development, Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development has, in terms of regulation 5(4) of the Gauteng Health Care Waste Management Regulations of 2004 (“Regulations”), published a list of persons authorised in terms of the Regulations, and registered on the Gauteng Waste Information Systems database, in the schedule to this notice.
The schedule lists transporters that are authorised to transport health care waste in terms of the Regulations and treatment facilities that are authorised to treat health care waste in terms of the Regulations.
