The MEC for the Northern Cape Department of Environment and Nature Conservation has declared the Melkrivier Nature Reserve as a Nature Reserve in terms of section 23 of the NEMPAA on the properties collectively managed as Melkrivier Nature Reserve. The Reserve is located in the Nama Khoi Municipality, Division of Namaqualand.
