The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, in terms of section 29(3) read with sections 53(a) and (c) of the NEM:AQA, given notice of her intention to publish regulations in respect of the preparation of pollution prevention plans in terms of section 29(3) of the NEM:AQA. The requirement to prepare a pollution prevention plan is in respect of the greenhouse gases to be declared as priority pollutants in terms of section 29(1) of the NEM:AQA.
Members of the public were invited to submit written comments within 30 days after the publication of the notice.
