INSIGHTS

The Minister responsible for Mineral Resources has, under item 4 of schedule 4 of the MHSA, repealed chapter 21 of the Regulations made in terms of the Minerals Act 50 of 1991, pertaining to electricity. Said repeal will take effect on the date on which Electricity Regulations are published in the Government Gazette in terms of Chapter 3 of the MHSA (i.e. on 24 April 2015).
