The Council of the Govan Mbeki Municipality has, in terms of section 156 of the Constitution read in conjunction with section 11 and 98 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, published the Nuisance By-Law, as set out in this notice. Amongst others, the By-Law regulates the disturbance of public peace in public areas, offences against decency and morality and offences against public health.
