The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has published the Draft Aquaculture Bill for public comment. The objects of the Bill are to, inter alia, promote responsible aquaculture development; promote the development and management of an aquaculture sector so as to enhance food security in the Republic; and promote coordination of aquaculture research and development activities.
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments on or before 31 March 2016.
