The MEC for the Mpumalanga Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs has, in terms of section 14(2)(b)(i) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, publish the list of Standard Draft By-Laws, for public comment. The by-laws relevant to environmental issues are –
- Prevention and Suppression of Nuisance;
- Waste Management;
- Storm Water Management; and
- Water Supply.
