REFUSE (SOLID WASTE) AND SANITARY BY-LAW

The Kgatelopele Local Municipal Council has, in terms of sub-section 156(2) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa Act 108 of 1996 read with section 13 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, published the Refuse (Solid Waste) and Sanitary By-Law. The By-law regulates, inter alia, the storage and removal of special industrial waste, builders refuse and infectious waste and well as the regulation of dumping and littering.
