The Umlalazi local Municipal Council has enacted by-laws regulating inter alia:- the establishment of the Municipal Planning Approval Authority, Municipal Planning Appeal Authority and the Municipal Planning Enforcement Authority; to provide for the adoption and amendment of the Municipality’s land use scheme, applications for municipal planning approval; appeals against decisions of the Municipal Planning Approval Authority; offences and penalties; and compensation within the area of the abovementioned municipality and provide for matters incidental thereto.
