The City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality has published the Treated Effluent By-Law which sets out the provisions for the regulation and control of treated effluent in the jurisdiction of the municipality. The By-law provides for, inter alia, the regulation of the supply of treated effluent and for the requirements for treated effluent installations.
