INSIGHTS

The Emakhazeni Local Municipality has, in terms of section 3(1) of the WSA, and sections 27(1)(b), 152(1)(b) and 156 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996, enacted the Water Supply and Sanitation Services By-Laws. The bylaws provide for, inter alia, conditions of water supply and sanitation services by the Municipality and matters pertaining to unauthorized water services.
