The Provincial Minister of Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning in the Western Cape, has, under section 23(1) of the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act 57 of 2003, declared the Blue Hill Nature Reserve on Portion 2 (a portion of Portion 1) of the Farm Paarde Kraal No. 84 and the remainder of the Farm Paarde Kraal No 84.
