The MEC for the Western Cape Department of Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning has, in terms of section 23(1)(a) of the NEM:PAA, given notice of his intention to declare the following nature reserves on the properties as indicated in the schedule to this notice –
- Jakkalsdans Nature Reserve;
- Vergelegen Nature Reserve;
- Witkliprug Nature Reserve;
- Wildealsvlei Nature Reserve;
- Oudeberg Nature Reserve;
- Sanbona Wildlife Reserve;
- Franco Three Fountains Nature Reserve;
- Darling Renosterveld Nature Reserve;
- Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve;
- Buffalo Valley Nature Reserve.
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments within 60 days of the date of publication of this notice (i.e. on or before 22 August 2017).
