Adriaan qualified with a B. Com (Law) degree and an LLB degree from the University of Pretoria. He served his articles with MacRobert Attorneys and was admitted as an attorney, notary public and conveyancer in February 2008. He plies his trade in the firm's Corporate and Commercial Law Department, where he is involved in various aspects of corporate and company law (advising on the Companies Act, structuring and formation of companies, drafting of unique memorandum of incorporation and administration related matters), contracts (negotiations, drafting and execution of various commercial agreements, with a special focus on property and mining related transactions). Adriaan is a certified mediator (through the University of Cape Town) and assists various clients to resolve disputes through litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
