Jerry obtained the degrees BSocSci and LLB from the University of Cape Town. He further obtained an LLM in International Economic Business Law (IEBL) from Kyushu University in Japan. While serving his articles, his interest in litigation was harnessed. After his admission in 2004, he worked in the financial services sector where he gathered extensive experience and exposure in compliance, legal risk and business management. He served as Chairperson of Professional Conduct Inquiries for the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) where he was exposed to medical malpractice litigation. Jerry joined MacRobert Incorporated in 2016 as a director.
