Khashifa Ussuph

Khashifa qualified with the degrees BA(Law) and LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She served her articles at Zubeda Seedat & Company in KZN with specialised focus on 3rd party claims and Family Law matters. Khashifa was admitted as an attorney in 2009 and has her rights of appearance in the High Court of South Africa, The Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court. Khashifa is a seasoned multi- disciplined litigator and Family Law practitioner who holds a certificate in Divorce Mediation. She also specialises in Corporate and Commercial matters. Khashifa joined MacRobert in 2019 as a Senior Associate in the Medical Law Department, specialising in Medical Negligence Litigation. She holds a Certificate for an Introduction to Medical Law. In 2022, Khashifa expanded her repertoire at MacRobert as a Consultant, and takes over the reins of the firm’s Pro Bono portfolio. This portfolio has been developed over a number of years and focuses on providing legal services to SMEs and Non-Profits to maximise the positive impact that these organisations have in South Africa.
