Makhabane qualified with an LLB degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA). He joined the Financial Recovery division in 2017 where he practices banking law specializing in foreclosure and repossessions. He was admitted as an attorney on 15 February 2018 and after gaining extensive knowledge and expertise in the field was promoted to a director in 2020.
